Recap 2 - Inspired Bride at StudioWed Atlanta

The concept of the Inspired Bride event was for brides to meet StudioWed vendors and plan a fantasy wedding in one afternoon.

Each bride received a fabric flower and a very special name tag from Anne Elser Designs who provided hand calligraphy on-site

The event was interactive which allowed brides to see vendors' work firsthand. Here are bouquet displays from Tulip

We had such a wonderful turnout for the event. It was the perfect opportunity to meet brides and demonstrate to them how easy it is to plan a wedding with StudioWed.

Recap 1 - The Inspired Bride at StudioWed Atlanta

The StudioWed Atlanta Inspired Bride event held on August 23rd was a smashing success! Our fabulous photographers did a wonderful job capturing the event and I will be sharing all of the details over the next few days.

The Inspired Bride table was designed from the event invitation. (all photos below courtesy of Ross Oscar Knight) Debra of Luxe Expressions did a fabulous job designing the letterpress invitation and matching menu cards and place cards.

Chelsea Floral Designs provided the classic white flowers

Sharon of Sweet Sensations designed this stunning wedding cake which replicated the design from the invitation.

And to top it off, Tamara of I Do Linens provided custom linens

Real Weddings - Martina and Lindsay

Martina & Lindsay's wedding was held at Eagles Landing Country Club in May. The weather was not on our side that day, but the wedding was still beautiful! The couple shared a love for travel, so we incorporated that into the wedding design. Ginger of Serendipity, did a fabulous job with all the wedding day stationery.

New Loews Atlanta Hotel

Atlanta has some exciting new event venues opening first of 2010, including the Loews Atlanta Hotel in Midtown.
The hotel is described as contemporary Southern style meets classic luxury.


I recently took a construction tour of the Loews Atlanta property, and it's definitely going to be a great addition to our city's venues and guest accommodations. In true Loews form, the guest rooms are both plush and cozy.

All of the guest rooms feature bathrooms with separate showers and tubs. Perfect for bubble baths!

And my favorite part about the hotel - the ballrooms of course! The Mercer ballroom can hold 420 for a seated reception and the Ellington can hold 852 seated. So for brides who are looking for a venue to hold both the ceremony and reception without having to flip the ballroom, the Loews is perfect!
