Courtney + Doug - The Reaction

It's always wonderful to have a great photographer to capture the most precious moments of a wedding day. Brenda Upton nailed this one - it's one of my favorites, as she captures the bride's reaction as she sees the reception room for the first time after my team finished the set up. It brings a tear to my eye now to see how happy and emotional Courtney was at that moment. This is why I do what I do!

Model for A Day

My husband and I had the chance to participate in the Love Affair photography workshop and it was a blast! Here are a few preview shots from our fabulous photographer Davina.
My hair and makeup was definitely a different look for me. But that's what these shoots are for - to have fun and take chances.
After almost 9 years of marriage it's great to have images like these. I definitely recommend a fun photo session just because!

StudioWed Featured in I Do For Brides

StudioWed Bridal Event - The Photobooth

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and of course all of my wonderful vendors who contributed to the StudioWed Atlanta bridal event last Sunday. The event was a smashing success! Yesterday, Ross Oscar Knight featured an interview and my new head shots on his blog. Check it out here.I'm so used to being on the other side of the camera, helping my brides get ready for their special day. For me, it's nerve wrecking to be in front of the camera. But my good friend Ross Knight, made me feel so at ease, and as a result captured my true personality in the photos. I'm hard at work updating my branding and website. Hopefully soon I'll be able to show how these photos will be incorporated into my company's fresh new look!

Friday's wedding was intimate and beautiful. I think everyone in attendance at some point shed tears of joy. There was love and happiness all around.
