Tejani Event

A few weeks ago I attended the Tejani jewelry event which took place at Geisha House and was sponsored by the Atlantan Brides magazine.

Tejani offers beautiful designer bridal costume jewelry with an ethnic flair. All of their pieces are made in India.
Chelsea Floral Designs, one of my StudioWed vendors, did a fabulous job with all the stunning floral arrangements.

StudioWed Atlanta Opens

StudioWed Atlanta officially opens today! We still have some work left to do on the studio, but starting today you can begin scheduling meetings with our vendors.

Moving!

Posting will be light this week as I take time to move into my new studio in the Midtown West district of Atlanta. I'm so excited to finally have a place to call home with all my fellow vendors in StudioWed. The studio space has tons of character with tall loft ceilings, sealed concrete floors, and exposed brick walls. For interior colors I'm using black and white furniture with blue accents. I'll be sure to post pictures once we move in!

Studio Wed Atlanta Website

I'm very happy to announce the StudioWed Atlanta website is live! We still have some tweaks to make to the website and we are working on the blog, but in the meantime please be sure to stop by and see our impressive list of vendors.

The studio will open in Midtown West in only 2 weeks!!! I'll be sure to keep you updated on the details.

Sweet Sensations

Last week I had the pleasure of stopping by Sweet Sensations, a bakery in Newnan, to meet with the delightful owner Sharon Alexander.
Sweet Sensations is included in the Grace Ormonde Wedding Style magazine's Platinum List. And it's easy to see why when you look at her hand crafted cake designs.
Beyond the beautiful designs I can attest the cake tastes even better than it looks! Of course she has the standard flavors but she also yummy choices like

Sweet Sensations Signature Cake - Two layers of banana (spice) cake filled with a light and fluffy caramel covered in vanilla buttercream.

and

Ginger Peach - Two layers of moist, ginger peach cake filled with peach cream and finished in vanilla buttercream.
Sharon believes each cake should be unique and reflect the style of each couple, so she custom designs all of her wedding cakes.
I am excited to announce that Sweet Sensations has joined StudioWed Atlanta! So if Newnan is too far for you to travel for a tasting, you will soon have the option to meet with Sharon in the studio!

Southern Weddings Launch

I had a wonderful time last night at the Southern Weddings launch party. It was so great to finally be able to meet the Southern Weddings team in person.
Dogwood Restaurant was the perfect location for the party and their biscuits are to do for!

StudioWed Atlanta Update

The details are coming together very nicely for StudioWed Atlanta. In case you missed the earlier post, I am opening a new wedding planning studio. StudioWed Atlanta will bring together some of Atlanta's best wedding vendors under one roof in a centrally located, stylish planning studio. No more driving around the city of Atlanta to meet with vendors, brides will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of hand selected vendors in one space.

We are putting the finishing touches on our website and I will update you as soon as it is done. In the meantime, I'm very excited to announce the vendors that have committed thus far!

Happy New Year! 2008 was a great year for new beginnings with the debut of my new logo, website, and blog. It was a great year for establishing new relationships with clients and vendors.

As I look to 2009 I am so full of optimism and excitement. I've worked so hard this past year to take my business to a new level, and 2009 will be the year that all of my hard work will hopefully pay off with the opening of StudioWed in Atlanta.

After many months of planning, I am beyond excited to announce that I will be bringing Studio Wed to Atlanta.
Studio Wed Atlanta will bring together some of Atlanta's best wedding vendors under one roof in a centrally located, stylish planning studio. No more driving around the city of Atlanta to meet with vendors, brides will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of hand selected vendors.
