Moses-Porter Pre-Reception

For the pre-reception we really used the lemon yellow and lime green color scheme to create a fun and colorful atmosphere. (Photos are courtesy of Photography by R. Harrington)Instead of a traditional guest book, the couple decided to have a signature portrait mat using their engagement photo. Now the picture along with their guests' signatures will be displayed in their home.

We created a very colorful escort card table display with the couple's initials using yellow button mums and the escort cards sat on top a bed of green button mumsThis photo shows more of the green button mums once escort cards had been removed by guestsWe lined the window sill with colorful yellow and green spider mums and votive candles
I have to say a big thank you to Annette at Swanky Tables for the sale tip on these cute and very affordable mini vases
We used ottomans as additional seating during the pre-reception
I just have to show a picture of this same bench/ottoman above. They were already in the venue and rather than go to waste, I had my seamstress sew white slipcovers and we added green and yellow satin pillows. What a difference fabric makes!
