Pure Elegance at the High

Last week I had the privilege to attend "Pure Elegance at the High". This event was exclusively for wedding planners and vendors to promote the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, as a wedding venue and was also co-sponsored by The Atlantan Brides magazine. We were greeted with fruit sake shooters. They were like little fruit smoothies with sake.
For appetizers there was a sushi station Bold American Catering did a great job with all the decor.

And all the fabulous linens in the atrium were custom designed by I Do LinensWe were entertained with live jazz And then we moved into the Grand Lobby for dinner. This is the scene when we walked into the room. I only wish my camera skills were better to really do it justice!
Everything was just gorgeous. All the decor and centerpieces were from Tony Brewer & Company with support from Event Rentals Unlimited.I loved these little nooks they created for additional seating. The color scheme was ice blue, pink, and taupe.
Everything was just the epitome of southern elegance.

And the linens were just to die for! They added wonderful texture to the table.
Inviting Ideas did a gorgeous job with all the stationery. The menu was printed on Lucite which matched the invitation.
Even the place cards were works of art. Michelle, the owner of Inviting Ideas, told me that since the dinner was held at the museum, the guests' names were printed on canvas. I just love all the details and the fact that Michelle put so much thought into it!
The High Museum of Art's in house caterer, Restaurant Associates, did an impeccable job with the food presentation and service.

After dinner we headed outside to the patio area where it was set up for a wedding! It would be so magical to have a wedding under the stars out there.
And more food! This time a dessert buffet on top of a lighted table.
The dessert shooters were too cute. And to top it all off - chocolate covered marshmallows! As you can see, the High Museum of Art has so much to offer for weddings and social events. I can't wait to have a wedding here - it is such a beautiful space and so different from any other venue in Atlanta.

This was such a fabulous evening and it was so inspiring to be able to socialize with some of Atlanta's best wedding planners whose work I have admired. Just to name a few...
