Fabulous Wednesday!

And why is today so fabulous?

Well first, today I'm attending the Eventology wedding business conference. I'm so excited to meet planners from all over the country and hopefully leave with lots of information to help me improve my business.

Last night was the networking mixer. I was able to connect with my virtual friends, here I am with Elizabeth of Elizabeth Anne Designscatch up to old friends, here I am with Lara of Southern Weddingsand also hang out with my fellow StudioWed vendors, Jeannine with Favor Events and Sukai with Dreamy Gelato & Chocolates

Second, today is my birthday! This time last year I was in Vegas celebrating my birthday. Hmmm maybe I'm starting a tradition of traveling for my birthday - I like!Photo by Jackson Photography

Safari Chic - Stationery

Stationery gives your guests the first indication of what's to come and will be a great way to incorporate the safari theme.

Although not traditional wedding stationery, I think these cards would be so much fun as save the date cards.

This save the date and invitation suite from Zenadia Design is beyond perfect. Just the right amount of leopard print with the bold red makes for a fun wedding invitation.

Happy Monday & Etsy Week

The weekend flew by - I can't believe it's Monday already! First I have to congratulate the ladies at Elizabeth Anne Designs on their new blog EAD Living. Ami and Rebekah describe EAD Living as "a new blog dedicated to making our everyday lives as beautiful and creative as the day we begin our marriage. Living will be filled with crafts, recipes, book reviews, and everything else we love about the home arts." I don't know how they do it, but they continue to inspire us and raise the bar for creative blogs!

Second, thanks so much to Tangarang for giving me the Kreativ Blogger Award.It's always nice to be recognized and know that people are enjoying reading my blog. If you haven't heard of Tangarang, definitely check out the blog and their Etsy shop of adorable party items!

And finally, speaking of Etsy, if by some chance you've never heard of it, Etsy is an online marketplace for buying & selling all things handmade.Any time I'm looking for unique items for a wedding or event, Etsy is my first stop. It is pure genius to have amazingly talented artists from around the world in one place to display their products and work. I have already featured some of the Etsy sellers I have worked with, including stationery designer Inkspot Workshop, party goods seller Crossroads Cottage, and my business card designer Invited Ink.

This week I am going to showcase some of my other favorite Etsy shops for weddings and I hope it will provide you lots of inspiration for your own wedding or event.

Elizabeth Anne Designs Library

Rebekah and Ami at Elizabeth Anne Designs sent me an email regarding the launch of The EAD Library, a new resource for brides. The launch is scheduled for today July 22nd.The Library is filled with hundreds of useful links, from photographers to shops to stationers. The goal is a simple, comprehensive list of vendors. The Library will help every bride, no matter her location, find the vendors and inspiration she needs for a beautiful event.
